Zoom Impacted by Global Outages

Dear Friends,

I woke this morning to news that our video chat platform is struggling this morning. They have been having this problem since the morning hours in the UK, so we may be lucky and find that they have resolved them by 10am Pacific Time.

So we will attempt to open the meeting as usual, but I don't yet know if it will work. We will also run a Facebook Live Stream on our Facebook page:

We will post to our website in the Sermon section the video of our time together later in the day.

As we may not be able to have coffee hour today, I encourage you to call a parishioner -- someone you would normally talk with at coffee hour and check in on them. Also, feel free to phone around to people you know who normally come onto the Zoom call and let them know that there are technical issues with Zoom today.

Our readings this morning include the promise of the Holy Spirit in the Gospel of John. In it Jesus promises the disciples "I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also will live."
