Morning Prayer and Zoom Coffee HourOnline Worship & Coffee Hour - Sunday, May 3, 2020 This Sunday, we will gather using the videochat platform, Zoom, to share Morning Prayer. The Order of Service is available on the website. We will begin at 10am (or a few minutes after as we get folks settled in). We expect to take about 45 minutes to pray and sing "together" and then have a time to check in and socialize a bit. Ugo has offered to take hymn requests so may play a verse or chorus of your favourite hymn at the end of worship. You are welcome to join us for just the "Coffee Hour" at approximately 10:50. While we love to see your faces with video chat -- Zoom accomodates both audio only from a computer OR a phone in option. The email sent to parishioners contains the password for the Zoom meeting. Please be in touch with Pastor Ruth if you would like to join the Zoom meeting and need some assistance. Meeting ID: 914 1166 8442

Additional Notes
Dear Friends, Please note that our Monday morning Bible Study group is continuing to meet on Zoom at 10:30am. Please contact Pastor Ruth for the Zoom meeting information. Our Wednesday night Bible Study group shifted to Friday evenings for their Zoom chats. Again, please contact Pastor Ruth for the details. We are so very grateful to those of you who have ensured that your regular financial contributions have arrived at the church -- dropping cheques through the mail slot, or sending them along via Canada Post, or logging on and donating through our website, or using the pre-authorized donation method. We know that as this time of public health emergency continues, your own financial situations may be changing. We continue to appreciate your generosity as you are able. Our communicationn strategy at this time includes a video check-in posted to our Facebook feed and website on Thursdays and these emails on Fridays. We are also in the process of phoning as many of you as possible in the next week or so. Because my uninterrupted hours tend to be after 9pm, I am, personally, not making as many phone calls as I would like to do, but please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. The wardens and parish council and members of our pastoral care teams are doing an amazing job trying to connect with people and I hope you find that connection meaningful. Stay safe! In Christ, Ruth |
