The Great Vigil of Easter, begins at sunset with the lighting of the year's paschal candle. Gathered in the darkness, we hear the story of our faith from creation to the ministry of Jesus. As we hear the Gospel account of the Resurrection, we turn on all the lights, ring bells, and join in celebrations around the world. We will renew our baptismal promises and share in the first Holy Eucharist of Easter.
